Audrey, Cygnus and Ibis, collectively known as The Railway Carriages, are romantically named after carriages on the original Orient Express.
Designed to sleep families of 2+2, these custom-built cottages are unique not only to Lincolnshire but to the whole of the UK. Individually suitable as self-catering accommodation for romantic holidays for 2, or for families with up to 2 children, you can also hire all three for larger groups of friends and family. Children, and adults alike, just adore the Railway Carriages!

The original Station Master's House is, as the name suggests, steeped in the character and history befitting such a title. A Three Star Quality in Tourism rating by Visit England with accreditation for being Walker and Cyclist Friendly supports the superior quality of this fabulous property. The generous space of this lovely holiday destination naturally lends itself to larger groups or families for reunions, parties or general get-togethers.

Make the most of your visit with our Cycle Hire

Whatever your need, we have cycles and accessories to suit all tastes and sizes.
Adult 18 speed mountain bikes with suspension, junior and kiddie bikes as well as tagalongs, towalong trailers and child seats for those too young to ride on their own. We even have a fun tandem and two Penny Farthings!!

A perfect setting with a choice of routes to suit both those looking for an adventurous and energetic cycle (head just 1 mile west into the hilly Wolds) and those who prefer a gentler, more leisurely ride (stick to the flat country lanes to the east!).

Cycle hire is available both to residents and visitors.
Come and meet your family and friends for this Lincolnshire fresh air experience...!

The original weighmasters office has been sympathetically converted into a small shop from which we hire our cycles and sell a range of drinks and ice creams to keep the children happy, and refresh you upon return from your cycling adventure!

Our bespoke barbecue hut, available for all guests to use during their stay, has seating both inside and out to cater for group dining in all weathers.

The built-in Buschbecke BBQ completes the setting to provide a picnic area that just begs to be used!!

You can also choose to hire our children's Bouncy Castle so you can sit back and relax whilst the kids expend some energy.

The Bouncy Castle can be set up in the picnic area or in the grounds of The Station Master's House so you can safely keep an eye on your children, wherever you want to watch them from!

Situated on and once forming part of the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, a working heritage line with steam and diesel running days, our holiday homes are in a perfect location for the rail enthusiast, more discerning holidaymaker or larger family gathering.

Ideally situated for cycling, walking, fishing and golf - the range and diversity of activities and attractions that abound in close proximity provide endless ideas for things to do and places to go. Visitors will witness amazing views, stretching out to Lincolnshire's rolling Wolds and to Pleasure Island less than 6 miles away in Cleethorpes.

With a host of local activities set within picturesque rolling countryside and distant horizons with those famously big skies, Welcome to Lincolnshire's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.......
